6_DFN16_PRESS_THEO-CIVITELLO_SUN_TUNDRA_2[1]Day For Night, billed as one of the top three festivals in the world by Consequence of Sound, returns for year three in Houston, TX.Day For Night’s transformative experience is set for December 15th-17th at the massive PostHTX.

The three-day event features a summit, music, and art festival.  The summit, held on Friday, includes in-depth talks and discussion with futuristic thinkers and leaders from the media, music, and art worlds such as Chelsea Manning, Laurie Anderson and Nadya Toloknnikova. The summit theme pinpoints the intersection of art, technology, and activism.  The summit serves as a platform to exchange ideas.

En Vogue is even hitting the stage at Day For Night.  We are impressed once again with the diversity of this experiential project.  The inaugural event featured Kendrick Lamar, Janelle Monáe, and Dillon Francis and 2016 featured 68 bands including Aphex Twin. Day For Night gets it when it comes to cutting-edge talent in different genres of music.  Their lineups feature acts that are active in various social causes.  While Friday is all about the Summit, there is a special performance by Saint Heron featuring Solange so don’t miss out. Earl Sweatshirt and Kaytranada are scheduled to perform Friday as well.
